It’s Turkey Raffle Time. On Saturday, November 14th The Plainfield Fire Department will hold the annual Turkey Raffle in the Fire District Administration and Training Facility at 23748 W. 135th Street in Plainfield. Doors open at 7 p.m. Turkeys and hams will be raffled along with door prizes. The Plainfield Fire Department consists of past and current firefighters and paramedics of the Plainfield Fire Protection District and is a charitable association that supports members, the community and the fire service. Some of the proceeds for the Turkey Raffle will go towards the Chief Eichelberger Scholarship Fund and the Illinois Fire Safety Alliance’s Burn Camp. For more information please call 815-436-5335.
