Congratulations to Paramedic Troy Hambly on his retirement after 37 years of service to the Plainfield Fire Protection District! Troy began his career with the Plainfield Ambulance Department in 1984 as a paid on call/volunteer Emergency Medical Technician. Troy was hired full-time in 1986 and became a paramedic in 1988 when the department transitioned into an Advanced Life Support service. In addition to being a Paramedic Troy was also on the Water Rescue Team and a Car Seat Technician. During Troy’s career he held the ranks of Lieutenant, Captain and Assistant Chief of the Ambulance Department. Thank you Troy for your service to the Plainfield Fire Protection District and enjoy your retirement.
