Plan Review Submittals

Fire Prevention Bureau

Plan review submittals

Before a fire protection system can be installed or modified within the Plainfield Fire Protection District, the design must be reviewed and approved by the Fire Prevention Bureau. This applies to new construction, tenant improvements, additions, and system retrofits.

Plan review ensures that proposed fire alarm, fire sprinkler, and suppression system designs comply with the adopted fire code, referenced NFPA standards, and District ordinances. Submittals that are incomplete or missing required documents will be returned, so please review the requirements below before uploading your plans.
